The advantages of laparoscopic procedures include
Reduced blood loss
Decreased trauma
Faster recovery
Reduced post-surgery rest
Improved patient-experience
Any gynaecological procedure will require certain tests & diagnosis to ensure the patient is ready for the same. Following the diagnosis, the patient will be required to be at the hospital on the day of the procedure, stop consuming food/liquids few hours prior to the procedure and follow the advice of the anaesthetist.
Most laparoscopic procedures allow you to return home the very same day or at best the next day. Returning home and to normal routine quickly is one of the fundamental objectives of a laparoscopic procedure.
